Today we explored the Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park near Superior AZ. This was an education in cacti and other desert plants that are incredibly well adapted to their environments. So many of the plants have medicinal properties that have been known for millenia by the native population. If you are ever out this way, this place is definitely worth a visit.
