Weather has been warm and windy, with gusts above 40 mph, which has made some exciting driving with the trailer. All considered, it is quite stable.

Driving and More Driving
We spent the last 2 days driving across the deserts of New Mexico and Texas, about 350 miles each day. The scenery is boring and unchanging, but at least Interstate 10 is in great shape - very smooth. The rig cruises at 55 mph, and the mileage has been remarkable considering all the weight - 13 mpg. Last night we stayed in dusty, dirty Demings NM in an RV park that should win a prize for sheer ugliness. It was a sea of gravel and dust with a few dog droppings thrown in for good measure. Tonight, we are in Fort Stockton, TX at a park that features some grass and trees. Off to Kerrville, TX tomorrow where we will be staying 4 nights. The park is situated in the verdant Texas hill country, where is much to see and explore. We will post some pictures soon.
