Leaving Tornado Alley!!

We are now in Oklahoma City, having spent last night in Fort Smith AR. Now, we are well on our way to finally escaping the severe weather we have been dealing with for the last two weeks. Tomorrow, we will drive 260 miles or so to Amarillo TX. Our route follows I - 40, which has been boring and uneventful, and that's just fine for now.

My health continues to improve each day. It has been five days since I started treatment, and I was able to eat my first real dinner tonight, with meat, veg, and rice. All the symptoms are history now, including the headache and skin sensitivity. It will take me quite some time though to regain my strength.

Donna and Cooper are doing well. The trailer and the truck have performed nicely, with no problems. The odometer shows we have driven 5,500 miles to date.
